The looting trigger reads generously, but the tribal clause is where the design does its real work. Most card-filtering flyers this cheap tie their draw to a single spell type: cast an instant or sorcery and dig one deep. Bolting the ability to Wizard spells as well widens the enabler pool sideways, so a deck that leans into the type gets loot value off creatures that would otherwise do nothing for a spellslinger engine. That triple trigger (instant, sorcery, or Wizard) is a nod to the long line of Wizard-matters payoffs stretching back to Naru Meha and the old duplicate-spell loops, though this one asks for far less setup: it just wants a body on the board and a stack of cheap spells behind it. The loot is the honest part of the bargain. Every trigger costs you a card even as it finds one, so the ability rewards a graveyard-hungry shell that wants specific cards in the bin more than it rewards raw card advantage. On an evasive body, that filtering can be turned toward finding a finisher or fueling delve and flashback rather than just churning for its own sake, which is a subtler ceiling than the "draw a card" phrasing suggests.
