Windgrace's Judgment

Instant3 generic manaBlack manaGreen mana

Point-removal prices its effect for one target, and multiplayer punishes that math ruthlessly: five mana that strips one problem while two other opponents keep their engines humming. This spreads the same cast across the table, letting a single instant answer a commander from one player, a locked-in enchantment from another, and a threatening artifact from a third, all resolving off one stack object. That instinct (scaling an effect to the number of opponents rather than to one) is native to the free-for-all, where the real weakness of one-for-one removal is not card economy but the tempo of trading answers to only a fraction of the board. The breadth of "nonland permanent" carries as much weight as the reach: no color restriction, no narrowing to creatures or artifacts, just one nonland permanent from each opponent you point at. Capping the destruction at one per player is what stops it short of a targeted board wipe; you cannot pile the whole effect onto the single opponent you most want gone, only reach out and take the worst thing each one has. Against a lone threat it shrinks into an overpriced kill spell. Its rate only pays off when several opponents each present something worth destroying in the same window, and you get to be the one deciding whose best permanent leaves the battlefield.
