The ship the entire continuity is named for, rendered as a Vehicle whose reward is wired to the same word the storyline has always chased: historic. The trigger does not skim whatever happens to sit on top; it wants the top five to contain the exact texture the subtype describes, so the engine only fires for a deck stocked with legends, artifacts, and Sagas. That is the design knot worth admiring: the ability asks you to run precisely the sort of cards it then hands you, a feedback loop that tightens the harder the deck commits. As a body it is a 4/5 flier, and two costs keep the rate honest. Crew 3 taxes every attack, tapping three power's worth of creatures each turn you want it airborne, and the dig only pays out after it connects, so the card advantage is a reward for surviving combat rather than a promise on cast. That leaves the card in an unusual spot for a four-mana artifact: neither a pure beater nor a pure value piece, but a flying clock that converts combat damage into selective card advantage, and only for the sort of deck built to feed it. It is one of the rare cases where flavor and mechanics point at the same target: the legend-skimming Skyship paying you to fill your library with legends.
