Weaponcraft Enthusiast
The choice baked into Fabricate is the whole reason this body reads 0/1 and not something self-sufficient. Spend the counters and you get a 2/3 that does nothing else; split them off and you keep the Enthusiast as a 0/1 alongside two 1/1 Servos, three separate bodies sharing one card, the Enthusiast itself contributing nothing but a death trigger waiting to happen. The design pushes hard toward the second mode, because the card was built for decks that want bodies to convert rather than bodies to attack with. Three expendable creatures off a single card is fodder: sacrifice payloads for aristocrat engines, blockers to chump and recur, headcount for effects that care how wide you go. The two Servos arrive colorless and tagged as artifacts, which is the quiet part doing the loud work, since the menagerie of effects that reward artifact creatures will count both off a single black three-drop. As pure stats the body is a liability, which is exactly the point: a 0/1 that trades its own combat relevance for token quantity is a deliberate exchange, output measured in triggers and sacrifice value rather than damage. Fabricate gave black a clean way to manufacture two expendable artifact tokens plus a sacrificial chassis in one card, and the decks that want that quantity have never cared how the Enthusiast fights.
