Myriad is a keyword that only makes sense with more than one opponent, and hanging it on a hasty red beater is the cleanest demonstration of what the mechanic was built to do. Each attack spins off a tapped, attacking token copy pointed at every other opponent, so one swing distributes pressure across the whole table rather than forcing you to commit to a single target. The 5/3 body is the tell: on a four-player board that lone attacker becomes fifteen power swinging at once, spread across three players, and haste means the pressure arrives the turn it lands. The tokens vanish once combat wraps up, which is the leash keeping the mechanic from snowballing: the copies never stick around to block or hold a lane, so you get a burst of damage without a board that persists. The timing rewards attention, though, because it matters more than it looks. Those copies exist through the whole combat phase and are only exiled at its end, which leaves a window after damage where you still hold priority. A sacrifice outlet or an instant-speed payoff can convert those copies into value before they wink out, so the effect is not purely a damage engine the way it first reads. What separates this from a token-doubler or a goad effect is the directness: no setup, no fodder, no existing board to copy from, just one attack multiplied into one attack per opponent.
