War-Spike Changeling
Changelings carry every creature type, so the design problem is what to give a card whose body is already a tribal cheat. The answer here is a repeatable first-strike toggle, a quietly pointed choice: a 3/3 that can pay a single red mana to win combats it would otherwise trade in tells you the card is built to attack into a board and survive, not to sit back as a lord target. First strike does not stack, so the activation is binary rather than cumulative; the value is keeping a mana open to flip the math on any block, every turn, for as long as the body matters. The type line does double duty: it slots into whatever tribe a deck happens to be running and counts toward every "creatures you control of a type" effect, so the first-strike body is the floor rather than the whole pitch. It is a utility creature dressed as a beater, the kind of Shapeshifter that earns its slot less for the 3/3 and more for being a wildcard tribe member that also refuses to die in the red zone.
