Wall of Limbs

The lifegain-to-counters loop is an old idea, but this is the rare wall that turns the accumulation into a kill. Most defenders that grow on lifegain stay defenders forever: a fatter blocker, a deterrent, a clock that never ticks. Here the sacrifice ability converts every counter into life loss for a target player equal to power, so a passive stall engine becomes a wincon the moment you can spare the mana to fire it. That conversion clause is what gives the card a reason to exist outside pure life-matters durdling: the deck that gains incrementally now has a payoff that doesn't require an attack step. The tension is in the math. A 0/3 that does nothing until lifegain triggers stack up, then suddenly threatens lethal once power climbs into the double digits, which means the body and the finisher are the same permanent. The sacrifice cost is steep on purpose, gating the payoff behind a real commitment so the wall can't snowball into an early kill before the lifegain engine has done its work; and because it targets one player rather than draining, it is a single-target execution, not a table-wide reservoir refill. It is a closer disguised as a speed bump, a slow grind that ends the game without ever swinging.
