Wall of Denial
Eight toughness behind a body nothing can touch: the size is the headline, but shroud is what makes this defender behave differently from every other large wall. Most big blockers fold to the spot removal a control deck is trying to bait out, and a wall that dies to a single Doom Blade or burn spell is just a speed bump. This one cannot be the target of anything, friend or foe, so the routes through it narrow to sweepers, edicts that don't pick targets, and combat math that never adds up for the attacker. The flying clause closes the gap a ground-only wall leaves open, letting one creature hold both the air and the floor without ever exposing itself to a destroy effect. The durability is paid for honestly, because shroud cuts both ways: you can't target this wall with an aura, an equipment, or a pump spell that would turn it into a clock. It is engineered to do one thing, sit in front of an aggressive draw and refuse to move, and the design extracts everything it can from that single function. A blocker that demands an answer most aggressive decks simply aren't holding is worth more on the battlefield than its modest stats imply, which is the whole trade: you give up any chance of the wall ever attacking in exchange for a roadblock the opponent has to plan around rather than spend a card on.
