Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients
Enrage was built to punish attackers who trade blows with a creature: a defensive ability word that pays you back for damage taken. This inverts that entirely. The second ability lets you volunteer for the punishment, dealing one damage to the Dragon whenever you roll one or more dice, and the Enrage clause converts that self-inflicted point into a 5/4 Dragon Spirit token. A reactive ability becomes a proactive token engine so long as you supply the dice. It leans on the die-rolling-matters mechanic to keep the fuel flowing, though the ability triggers once per roll event rather than once per die, so tossing a fistful of dice at once still nets a single ping and a single Dragon. The tokens carry their own governor: the sacrifice-on-damage clause makes them one-shot alpha-strike bodies rather than durable board presence, so the build this card wants swings wide and cashes the tokens in, not one that grinds a long game with them. The clean part of the design is that Vrondiss is both payoff and fuel, and the 5/4 body absorbs its own abuse gracefully: marked damage clears in cleanup, so the Dragon can safely eat up to three self-inflicted points a turn and still be a live 5/4 the next. The card supplies the conversion. You bring the dice and the outlets.
