Vile Aggregate
The wrinkle that makes this colorless-matters payoff fair is that it counts your colorless creatures, and devoid quietly made nearly every Eldrazi qualify. That is the deal a tribe built around the colorless count had to strike: the keyword that strips color off the card is also the keyword that feeds the lord-style power boost. With toughness fixed at 5 and a power that climbs with every devoid body on the board, it inverts the usual aggressive curve, asking the deck to flood the table before it becomes a threat rather than threatening on its own. Trample is the obvious reward for a body that can balloon past blockers, but Ingest is the quieter design note. The colorless tribe's flavor was processing and consuming, and banishing a card from the defending player's deck on connection is not a clock; it is fuel. Those exiled cards are exactly what a Processor wants, so Ingest ties the drone into a two-part exile-and-consume engine rather than merely thinning a library. The synthesis of devoid, a count-your-colorless power clause, trample, and ingest in one common-curve body is about as concentrated a statement of the Eldrazi-drone identity as the era produced: numerous, faceless, growing in lockstep, and feeding cards into the exile zone where the rest of the tribe could pick the bones.
