Vernal Sovereign
The token is the whole engine, and its power scaling is the clever part: because each token's power and toughness count every creature you control, the tokens count each other. Resolve this into an empty board and the first token arrives as a modest body; resolve it into a developed board and each new Elemental enters larger than the last, with every prior token growing in lockstep. The enter-or-attack trigger is what compounds it: one token when the 4/4 hits the battlefield, another every time it swings, and each addition ratchets the whole team's floating stat line upward. That makes the card a go-wide payoff and a go-tall threat at once, without asking you to choose, because the same creatures that widen the board also inflate its size. Most token generators run into diminishing returns (the tenth identical body matters less than the first); this one inverts that, since the tenth token lifts everything already in play. The vulnerability is symmetrical: a sweeper does not just remove the tokens, it shrinks the survivors, because a token's toughness collapses the moment the creature count drops. So the card rewards commitment and punishes overextension in the same motion, the reach of the payoff scaling exactly with the risk you take to build it. Because the first token comes from the enter trigger rather than casting, a blink or reanimation restarts the engine cleanly, which is where the design has more reach than the body suggests.
