Venser's Sliver
A colorless artifact body wearing the Sliver type, and that is the whole of its contribution: a 3/3 for five with no abilities printed on the card. What it brings to a hive is membership without commitment. Most Sliver lords lock themselves into a color and want company of that color to pay off; this one is just an artifact creature that any deck can run regardless of its mana base, and any Sliver it joins counts it toward whatever shared bonuses the rest of the tribe is handing out. The cost is the tax on that portability: five generic mana buys you a vanilla 3/3, a rate that would be embarrassing on its own and only justifies itself as a body the hive's actual ability-granters can amplify. It is a connector, not an engine. Read across the broader run of Slivers, it answers a question of reach rather than power: the keyword-granting lords change how a Sliver board fights, while this one only adds another colorless attacker for those lords to buff, useful precisely because it asks nothing of your colors and nothing of your sequencing beyond the mana to cast it. That makes it a filler piece in any aggressive Sliver build, valuable for what it does not demand more than for anything it does.
