Every swing generates a body already committed to dying: mobilize spits out a tapped-and-attacking 1/1 Warrior that will be sacrificed before the turn is over, and the death trigger cashes that scheduled expiration into a one-point drain and a one-point gain. That is the entire engine. The token isn't there to pad the attack's power; it exists to expire on cue and fire the drain, whether or not combat connects. What reads as a plain 3/3 beater actually plays like a self-contained aristocrats machine, converting the rhythm of attacking into a repeatable life swing that costs no mana and no separate outlet. That last point is the design's real economy: most token-makers need a sacrifice engine bolted on to turn bodies into value, but here the fodder ships with its own disposal built into the keyword, so the attack step alone guarantees a death trigger. Add an actual sacrifice outlet or a wider board and the drain multiplies, but nothing about the base rate demands you build around it. Earlier drain-on-death creatures leaned on chump attackers or expendable creatures you had to keep supplying yourself; this one manufactures its own fuel and burns it on a fixed timetable, which turns each combat step into a free value trigger that pays out regardless of how the attack resolves.
