The plane that turns the tribal-synergy tables of Lorwyn into a global rule. Its static effect scales every creature by how many others share a type with it, which rewards the same overlapping-typeline decks Lorwyn was built around: Elemental Shamans, Merfolk Wizards, Goblin Warriors that feed each other. In a board of homogeneous tribes it becomes an anthem stacked on itself; in a table of scattered singletons it does almost nothing, which is the tension that makes it a plane worth walking to rather than a flat pump. The chaos ability is where it earns its name: granting a single creature every creature type at once means that creature suddenly shares a type with everything on the battlefield, so it collects +1/+1 from each other creature while simultaneously handing each of them a bonus back through the shared type. One roll can swing a stalled board into a lopsided count, and the reciprocity of the static ability means the effect ripples outward rather than staying on the chosen target. As a piece of Planechase design it is a rare case where the plane's flavor (a scholar of shapeshifting truths) and its mechanics point at the same idea: identity is fluid, and on this plane, what you are is worth exactly as much as who else shares it.
