Urza's Factory

Land — Urza's

The colorless mana it taps for is incidental: this is a land that wins games by itself, the kind of mana sink a control deck leans on once both players have emptied their hands. Seven mana per token is a deliberately steep tax, paid one activation at a time across late turns when nothing else needs the float, and the design logic is that a token-producing land has to cost enough that it never crowds out the spells defending it. What it offers in return is inevitability: a draw-go deck that survives long enough turns this into an Assembly-Worker production line, churning out 2/2 bodies the opponent must answer every turn or lose to. It sits in the tradition of token-generating and creature-lands that dodge sorcery-speed removal by living in the manabase, where Wrath effects cannot reach them and counterspells have no spell to counter; the threat is permanent and renews itself without ever committing a card from hand. The Urza's land subtype is mostly flavor here, carrying none of the Tron-assembly payoff its named cousins bring to the table, but the factory framing is honest. The card does nothing fast and everything slow, a closer for decks built to grind.
