Ursapine

A repeatable single-target pump engine bolted to an otherwise empty 3/3 body, where one green mana hands any creature on the board +1/+1 until end of turn, as many times as your mana allows. That sounds like the spigot that breaks open a go-wide team or shoves an attacker past its blocker, until you account for what you spent five mana to deploy it. The body is the price. Five mana buys you the faucet; you still need leftover green to use it, and a single point of size per activation is a slow climb against any meaningful clock. Compare the firebreathing template that points its pump inward, the Shivan Dragon line, where the activation turns an already-evasive threat lethal on its own. Here the mana sink is untethered from evasion or reach, so it can only scale a board you have to assemble somewhere else first. That is the tension in the design: an on-demand stat engine attached to a creature that contributes almost nothing by itself, so it wants you to pour idle mana into the team while it sits there adding no pressure on its own. What you get is an honest value piece, converting unused mana into incremental power, conditional on something else having already shown up to swing.
