Each Praetor in the cycle hands its controller a static enchantment that bends a whole strategy in one direction; this one bends the clock. Granting haste to your team is the obvious half, the line that reads like a permanent stapled to a body. The quiet half does the real work: forcing every creature your opponents control to enter tapped is a tempo tax that compounds turn over turn. A fresh blocker can't block, which means an opposing board can never assemble its defensive wall in real time; it always trails one combat step behind. Run the two clauses together and the asymmetry points entirely at racing. Your creatures attack the turn they arrive; theirs can't stop the bleeding the turn they arrive. That is the structural logic behind red's place in the cycle, the color that refuses to let the game slow down. The 4/4 backs the philosophy without leaning on it, a body that would rather swing than hold the line. What makes the design durable is that it never asks what shape the aggression takes: token swarms, reanimated fatties, and one-shot hasty threats all draw the same two benefits, because the card only cares that you intend to win before your opponent gets to set up, not how.
