Unshakable Tail
Three abilities that only add up when you sequence them in order: surveil bins cards toward the yard, the library-to-graveyard trigger banks a Clue whenever a creature card hits the pile, and that Clue buys the body back after it dies. The upkeep surveil is a controlled drip toward the graveyard, but the investigate rider fires only on creature cards, so filling the bin with the right fuel is a genuine decision each turn rather than an automatic value spigot. The circuit is closed and deliberately slow: surveil to set up the mill, mill a creature to manufacture a Clue, then crack the Clue for a card or hold it to recur the 3/2 once it trades. The rebuy is where the balance lives. A recurring body that costs nothing to return would be tedious to answer, so the return isn't free: it demands a Clue and two mana, meaning every trip back to your hand is a resource you had to generate through the same self-mill loop it feeds. The Zombie Detective typing plants it squarely in graveyard-value territory, comfortable alongside aristocrats shells and surveil-matters builds without needing a single flashy line. This is a value nucleus more than a threat: a body that keeps returning, a steady trickle of Clues, and an upkeep surveil that quietly sharpens every draw you take.
