Unquenchable Fury

Enchantment — Aura2 generic manaRed mana

The damage output scales inversely to how a defending player wants to react: the fuller their hand, the harder the enchanted creature hits, so every card they refuse to spend becomes ammunition against them. That inversion is the whole idea. Where most red aggression punishes an opponent for having too few resources, this one punishes them for hoarding, turning a stocked grip (the thing that usually signals safety) into a liability. A control player sitting on counterspells and removal is exactly the target, and the pressure forces awkward decisions about when to dump the hand versus when to take the hit. The recursion clause is what keeps the Aura from being the usual two-for-one trap: kill the creature and you have not stripped the enchantment, only sent it home to be recast on the next threat. That resilience turns a fragile card-disadvantage engine into a repeatable one, which matters against the very decks with the removal to answer it. It is a narrow effect, built for a specific kind of board where an opponent is holding cards rather than deploying them, but within that lane the math does the work that a bigger creature or a harder swing usually would.
