Sorcery3 generic manaWhite mana

The clearest payoff converge ever printed for the mechanic's home keyword: cast it on color and the spell scales with how many of the five colors your manabase can produce, though at a total cost of 3 generic manaWhite mana you can only feed it four colors of mana, capping it at four 1/1 Kor Ally tokens. That ceiling is the catch. Spending one or two colors leaves you with a wildly overcosted way to make a token or two, so the card is functionally dead unless the manabase is built to feed it. Charging that deckbuilding tax is precisely what converge was designed to do. The token type matters as much as the count: white token-makers usually hand you Soldiers or vanilla 1/1s, and stapling these to the Ally creature type meant the army it builds could trigger a whole web of enters-the-battlefield rally effects that reward bodies arriving in batches. It is a wide-board enabler dressed as a converge showpiece, the kind of design that only reads well alongside spells caring about either Allies specifically or sheer creature count. Stripped of that support, four mana for a handful of fragile bodies is a poor rate; surrounded by it, the spell is a one-card mob that punishes a sweeper far less than four separate cards would have cost you to deploy.
