Unexplained Vision

Sorcery4 generic manaBlue mana

Draw three at five mana is the plain-vanilla end of the card-advantage spectrum: not a rate anyone builds around, but a rate that has quietly filled the same slot in blue decks since the earliest sets, where refueling a stalled hand mattered more than tempo. The Adamant clause is the wrinkle that gives this one a reason to exist over its many predecessors. Spend three blue mana and the draw comes bundled with a scry 3, turning a raw refill into a shaped one: you clear the flood, dig for the answer, and set up the next several draws instead of just replacing spent cards. It is a mono-blue reward mechanic bolted onto a color-flexible baseline, which means the card asks a question at deckbuilding time rather than in play. Splash blue and you get a serviceable draw spell; commit to it, and the same five mana buys card selection on top of card quantity, closing the gap between drawing three and drawing the right three. The conditional never punishes you for failing to hit it (the base effect stands on its own), so the design is pure upside gated behind a manabase commitment. That is the honest shape here: an ordinary refill with a payoff attached for the decks willing to pay in colored pips rather than generic mana.
