The seven-mana transform is priced steep because the back half is an anthem, not a bigger body: handing +1/+1, trample, and haste to every other creature you control is what turns a stalled ground force or a freshly landed wave of tokens into a board that all swings at once and pushes damage past the blocks. That is an unusual payoff for the ramp end of the color pie, which more often aims its mana at a single enormous threat than at making an entire board lethal in one attack. The transform carries no timing restriction, so with seven mana up you can flip at instant speed: the useful window is after blockers are declared, when granting trample across the team converts a stalled swing into a race you win, or during your own combat to break a standoff the opponent thought they had. The flip is one-way, so the commitment is real, and that permanence is what folds a threat and a payoff into a single card. Topdecked late, it is still just a hasty attacker the turn it lands, which is exactly what a curve-topper wants to be after a wrath. The green in the transform cost anchors it to a green shell, but the design's real ambition is that back face: not another fatty, but the button that lets a clogged board suddenly climb over.
