Uba Mask

Artifact4 generic mana

Drawing is the most reliable action in the game, and this turns it into a deadline. Cards drawn go face up to exile, playable only on the turn they were drawn, by the player who drew them. That sounds like a wash until you ask who actually wants to spend resources the moment they arrive. A control deck holding up answers loathes being forced to commit a card or lose it; an aggressive deck that empties its hand and plays off the top barely notices, since it was going to deploy whatever it drew anyway. The artifact rewards the pilot who has already won the card-advantage war and now wants to deny the opponent the ability to bank options. It also slots into more deliberate engines: pair it with effects that force extra draws, or with a way to fix what lands on top, and you convert an opponent's library into a stream of must-use-now cards while you sculpt your own. The face-up clause cuts the other way too, since both players see exactly what each draw produced; the information is about this turn, not a peek into the next one, since nothing carries over. It is a stax-adjacent prison piece dressed as a drawing rule, and its whole life is finding the player for whom "use it now or lose it" is a gift rather than a tax.
