Creature — Hyena1 generic manaWhite mana

White pays for its bodies in one of a few currencies: a point of toughness, a stiff mana cost, or a clause that fences off the aggression. This one picks the clause. The stats and the vigilance come cheap; the string attached is that the Hyena refuses to swing by itself. That single restriction reorients the card from a beatdown piece into a support creature. It wants company on the attack, which means it wants to be the second name on a developed board rather than the opening play. Vigilance is doing double duty here: it keeps the Hyena back on defense while a real threat forces the issue, so the "can't attack alone" clause stops reading as a tax and starts reading as a nudge toward going wide. The design is honest about what it is asking. Instead of docking toughness or pushing the cost higher, it leaves the rate intact and conditions the aggression instead: a cleaner kind of balancing than shaving stats. The result is a creature built to reward a board that develops and to punish the player who drops it alone and hopes. The texture of that constraint (a body that defends freely but attacks only with friends) is more interesting than a vanilla two-drop of the same size would ever be.
