White's color pie has long granted it artifact and enchantment recursion from the graveyard, and this packages that role as a small, repeatable rebuy stapled to a body. The 2/2 is freight; everything worth caring about sits in the enter trigger, which retrieves a single artifact card from your own graveyard to hand. The bundling is what gives the design legs. Because the value rides on a creature entering rather than on a spell resolving, any effect that flickers, reanimates, or otherwise replays the body also replays the retrieval, turning a one-shot into a loop in the right shell. That is why it scales inside an artifact deck instead of asking to be cast on its own merits. The targeting walls off the obvious abuses: artifacts only, your own graveyard only, and only on the enter, so it functions as a closed rebuy engine rather than an open card-advantage faucet. With its Human type doing no work here, it was built to be a gear in a machine, the cheap white piece that lets an artifact deck treat its best equipment or mana rock as harder to permanently lose.
