Transmogrant Altar

Artifact3 generic mana

Two sacrifice outlets stapled to one rock, and the interesting part is that neither is really about the creature going away. One mode is a mana engine: feed it any body and, for a black pip and the tap, it pays out three colorless, converting an expendable creature into a burst of ramp. The other is a token converter: pay two, tap, and trade a creature for a 3/3 that happens to be a colorless artifact, which matters more than the stats suggest in a deck counting artifacts or one that wants a fresh body to feed the next sacrifice. What makes the design cohere is that both modes share fodder and loop back into each other rather than competing for the board. The mana ability turns a dying creature into acceleration; the token ability turns a small creature into a 3/3 that can itself be sacrificed later, either back into mana or into the next token. That gives it a home in graveyard-value shells that already spit out disposable bodies and want a repeatable outlet on a permanent instead of a one-shot spell. Locking the token half to sorcery speed is the deliberate governor: artifact-token generation cannot happen during combat or on an opponent's turn, so the ramp half stays instant-speed flexible while the go-wide half never ambushes anyone.
