Tractor Beam
Control Magic never went away; it just kept getting more expensive and more conditional. This is the version that pays for permanent theft with an untap tax: the enchanted permanent flips to your control, taps on arrival, and then stays down every one of its controller's untap steps. In practice you are stealing a body and simultaneously freezing it, which reads as a wash until you notice the timing asymmetry. It enters tapped, so you cannot swing with the stolen creature the turn you take it, but you also never have to worry about it attacking you back or blocking for its former owner again: it is yours, permanently sidelined as an attacker or blocker unless you can untap it yourself. That makes it less a threat-stealing aura and more a hard answer wearing a theft costume, functionally a two-for-nothing removal spell that happens to leave the corpse under your control. The clause enchanting a Spacecraft as well as a creature marks where this design lives: it is aura-based interaction built for a board where the biggest permanents are not always creatures, and where pulling one off the top of an opponent's plan matters more than what you do with it afterward.
