Tomb of Urami

Legendary Land

A land that closes the game by ending itself. The pain clause keys off Ogre control, which tells you exactly who this was built for: an Ogre tribal shell where the land taps for black with no downside, then becomes a finisher when the rest of your board has run dry. The activated ability is the real design: pay four mana, tap the land, and sacrifice every land you control to mint Urami, a 5/5 flying Demon Spirit token. That is a scorched-earth conversion, trading your entire mana base for a single evasive threat, and it only makes sense as a last act. The line works precisely because it is symmetrical with desperation: you do this when lands no longer matter, when the game is won-or-lost on whether a 5/5 flier connects before you die. What makes the design durable is that the token itself is legendary and named, so it reads as a creature first and a land-sacrifice payoff second; the land is the delivery mechanism, the Demon is the point. It rewards a deck willing to flood and then cash that flood in at the worst moment, which is a narrower ask than most utility lands make, and explains why it lives at the intersection of black aggro and the kind of grindy mono-black build that would rather have a guaranteed threat than a dead late-game draw.
