Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves
The Ravnica lore has paired Tolsimir with Voja for years, and this printing finally makes that partnership the whole mechanical engine rather than flavor text: he arrives already flanked by his wolf, and every Wolf that follows triggers three life and a fight against a creature you don't control. The clever hinge is that the fight trigger reads "a Wolf you control," so Voja himself qualifies the moment he enters alongside Tolsimir, meaning a bare cast already banks three life and points a 3/3 at something on the way in. That builds a removal-plus-lifegain loop that scales with Wolf density: each new wolf is a Prey Upon stapled to a life-gain effect. Because it resolves as a fight, the exchange cuts both ways: your wolf deals its power to the target but takes damage back, so a small wolf can trade or die even as it kills what it bites. The "up to one target" wording keeps him from being a liability into an empty board, so the trigger never sits dead. The two colors split the labor cleanly: green supplies the fights and the bodies, white supplies the sustain, and the token generation means the engine primes itself the turn it lands instead of asking you to assemble a board first. It is a Selesnya midrange creature that answers a threat and gains life the instant it touches the battlefield, then keeps paying out for every wolf you can muster after.
