Timin, Youthful Geist
Half of a two-card control package designed so you are never stranded holding a lonely piece of the plan. The Partner-with clause is the insurance: when this Spirit enters the battlefield (not on cast, so a counterspell denies you both the body and the tutor), you may pull Rhoda, Geist Avenger from your library to hand, letting the pair act like a single flexible card whichever one you open with. What this side of the partnership contributes is a repeating, table-wide clock manager. Tapping up to one creature at the beginning of each combat, not only your own, turns the trigger into a persistent lockdown that reaches around the entire table: neutering the largest attacker before an opponent's combat, or tapping down a blocker to clear a path before your own swing. The "up to one" wording is the release valve, letting the ability whiff politely when there is nothing worth tapping rather than forcing an awkward target onto your own board. Stapled to a 3/4 flier that defends itself in the air, the tap effect grinds opposing offense down combat step by combat step, a soft-lock that tightens the more combats a turn cycle contains. It is a piece built for the multiplayer table, where "each combat" multiplies its reach and the Partner guarantee means the plan never depends on drawing both halves.
