Tribal payoffs that copy the spell itself, rather than just triggering off it, are a narrow and pointed design, and this one narrows further: the tribe it rewards is the Pegasus-Unicorn-Horse cluster, three of the least supported creature types in the game. That scarcity is the whole point of the build. Most creature-type lords ask you to go wide and then reward the width; this one asks you to cast the right kind of spell and duplicates the payload before it resolves, so a single well-chosen Unicorn shows up as two bodies, both buffed by the anthem the card already hands the rest of the herd. The catch is what the trigger cares about: the spell, not the permanent it becomes. Reanimation, blink, and token generation all leave it cold, which forces a deck that actually hardcasts its threats. And because the copy is still a creature spell resolving into a real permanent, copying a legendary member of the tribe buys you nothing durable: the legend rule catches the token as soon as it enters, and you keep one. The nonlegendary bodies you double up are where the engine pays off instead. As a flying, lifelink 2/4, the frame is defensive filler, gaining a trickle of life while the pieces assemble. Its real job is anchoring a tribe that waited a long time for a payoff willing to build around it.
