Throatseeker

A lord that pays out on the exact axis ninjas already exploit: getting through unblocked. Ninjutsu decks are built to slip creatures past an open flank, and this reads that gap not as raw damage but as lifegain, granting lifelink to any of your attacking Ninjas that goes unblocked. The grant is a static ability, so there is nothing to trigger and no window for the opponent to counter, but static does not mean untouchable: after blockers are declared, players still get priority before combat damage, and killing Throatseeker in that window strips the lifelink before it ever applies. The design is careful about what it withholds. The lifelink is conditional on the attack landing clean, so a blocked Ninja gets nothing, and the effect never touches your blockers or props up a stalled board. That keeps the card an aggressive engine rather than a stabilizer: it rewards the deck for doing what it wanted to do anyway, and turns each successful sneak into a life swing that widens the race. The 3/2 body is a competent early attacker in a ninja shell, so the lord is not a durdle you have to protect before it matters. It also folds cleanly into ninjutsu itself: a Ninja put onto the battlefield already attacking and unblocked qualifies the instant it arrives, no combat damage required. A small, precise piece of tribal support built around the single moment a ninja deck lives for.
