Thraben Purebloods

The 3/5 body is the whole job description. Five mana buys a wall on legs with no evasion and no abilities, a deliberately plain rate whose entire value is toughness as a resource. It blocks the early swarm, survives most of the cheap attackers it lines up against, and trades up against anything that does not finish it in one swing. The math is the point: an aggressive opponent has to spend two cards or a genuine removal spell to push past one body that any creature deck would otherwise step over. This is the unglamorous floor of a curve rather than its payoff, a stabilizer for a midrange shell that wants to buy time on the ground before its better cards take over. The Dog type and white identity place it squarely among the plain defensive commons that exist to absorb damage, not to generate it. There is no engine here and no trick; the design does not pretend otherwise. It is a card built around being hard enough to kill that the opponent has to overcommit to a problem worth almost nothing, and that asymmetry, modest as it is, is the entire reason a 3/5 with a blank text box gets printed at all.
