Thornhide Wolves
Five mana for a 4/5 with no abilities is the kind of stat line a design team keeps in reserve for when green's curve needs a fixed reference point: a plain body to price the splashier rares against. The toughness is the more telling number. At five, it survives most common-rarity burn and stonewalls four-power attackers without dying, which is the job green asks of a high-end wall meant to freeze the ground. Power at four means it rarely trades down and clocks at a fair pace once the board opens. That is the entire shape here: a vanilla creature demanding nothing from the cards around it and delivering nothing but reliable mass. Textless creatures like this are the connective tissue of a green curve, deliberately blank so the cards near them in rarity have something stable to be measured against. No synergy hook, no activated ability, no evasion; the value is pure arithmetic, being big enough to matter in combat and cheap enough to hit the table before the game is settled.
