Thornbite Staff
The combo engine hiding inside an Equipment. The first granted ability hands its bearer a pinger; the second untaps that creature whenever any creature dies, anywhere on the battlefield. The trick is that the ping costs every time, so the Staff is not an infinite kill on its own: what it actually builds is a repeatable untap trigger married to a damage outlet, and the loop only closes once you bring the mana or the payoff to complete it. With infinite mana the ping becomes an arbitrarily large source of damage that refunds its own tap on every death. More often the Staff functions as a free-untap engine for sacrifice decks, letting a creature with a tap-to-sacrifice or token-making ability fire again each time something dies, the actual win condition living in whatever death-trigger payoff you pair it with. The third line is the quiet enabler: the auto-attach to any Shaman that arrives means the right tribal shell can find the Staff a home without ever paying the equip cost. That equip number is the brake on the whole package, a deliberately punishing price that keeps the Staff from migrating onto whatever fresh body shows up; the free attach is the loophole, and it only opens for one creature type. What presents as a janky combat aid is really a patient assembly piece, waiting for a sacrifice outlet and a death-trigger reward to turn into a kill.
