Thopter Engineer
The haste-enabler is the half that matters here. The Thopter token on entry is a body and an artifact for whatever cares about artifacts, but the standing ability is the engine: every artifact creature you control swings the turn it arrives, which is exactly the tax that normally slows artifact decks. Token-makers spit out fliers and constructs that have to sit through a turn of summoning sickness; equipment-and-Servo strategies want their threats live now, not next upkeep. This reframes that whole tempo problem. Reanimate a Wurmcoil Engine and it can attack immediately; blink a Myr and it is ready to swing or tap the moment it returns; the Thopter the card makes for itself is already hasty, so even in a vacuum it leaves a flier that can pressure the turn it lands. Haste opens the attack step; it does not push damage through, so the anthem accelerates the clock without pretending to be evasion. The stat line points away from the front lines: this is a durable defensive shell built to keep the enabler on the table while the artifacts it accelerates do the killing, not a creature asking to attack on its own. Artifact-aggro builds had long worked around the summoning-sickness tax with one-shot tricks; a repeatable anthem of haste on a cheap, hard-to-trade creature is a structural answer to that tax rather than a patch for one turn.
