The Master, Transcendent

Reanimation in this game has almost always been a spell that fires once and demands a graveyard already stocked before you cast it. This body reads that same graveyard on a repeatable clock, and the ownership of the yard is irrelevant: only that a creature card was milled into it this turn. That window is the ceiling the whole design leans on, since nothing is dredged from the deep past, only whatever the current turn shoveled in. The card marries a mill piece (the rad counters it hands out grind the top of a library into the yard, creatures included) to a reanimator in one shell that refills its own fuel. Every creature it returns arrives homogenized: a 3/3 green Mutant stripped of its other colors and types, which quietly severs it from tribal payoffs and color-hooked triggers while keeping the raw body and any ability that still functions. The generic pip in the four-mana cost is the tell about how these jobs stack: across three colors, the card demands a committed manabase before it accrues rad, self-mills, and reanimates on repeat, and it never once asks you to draw the specific creature you want first. The graveyard it wants, it builds.
