Thatcher Revolt

Sorcery2 generic manaRed mana

Three bodies for one turn, then the bill comes due. The haste is the whole point: without it the tokens would expire having done nothing, so the spell is built to cash them in immediately for one combat step before the sacrifice clause empties the board at end of turn. That clause is what holds the price to two and a red. Permanent token-makers at this rate would be absurd, so the design rents you the attackers rather than selling them, and three power swinging in once is a fair lease. The sacrifice clause is written narrowly enough to leave a door open, though: the bodies vanish, but anything you do with them before the end step is yours to keep. Feed them to a sacrifice outlet, convoke them off, tap them for a one-shot effect, pump and connect to bank the damage as life loss rather than board state. The card rewards spending the tokens, not keeping them, which inverts the usual going-wide instinct of building a board to defend. Left alone it is a disposable alpha strike with a built-in expiration. Built around, it is a stack of fodder that happens to be able to attack the turn it lands. The friction is the same either way, since holding the bodies past your turn is simply not on offer; the line between throwaway aggression and a deliberate sacrifice payload is where this kind of self-destructing token spell earns its slot.
