Tezzeret, Artifice Master
Most planeswalkers ask you to pick a lane: protect yourself with the plus, advance your plan with everything else. This Tezzeret refuses the choice. The +1 makes a flying blocker that also happens to be an artifact, and the 0 draws a card while reading the board for those same artifacts, climbing to two cards the moment you control three. So the defensive ability and the engine ability feed each other: the Thopters you make to stay alive are the artifact count that turns the card draw into card advantage. That self-reinforcing loop is the whole design point, and it is why this Tezzeret rewards artifact-dense shells far out of proportion to the modest text. The 0 costing no loyalty is what makes the loop sustainable; it means the walker draws every turn without ever shrinking, and the Thopters only push it higher. The ultimate is the payoff that justifies the patience: an emblem that tutors a permanent directly onto the battlefield at the beginning of each of your end steps, a recurring free deployment that ends games on its own once it sticks. Across the Tezzeret incarnations, this one leans hardest into the planeswalker's flavor as an artificer who builds his own army rather than the saboteur or the combo enabler earlier printings chased. It is a card advantage engine wearing a token-maker's clothes, and the two halves are the same machine.
