A 7/5 with reach for five mana is a fair rate on stats alone, but the landfall clause is where this Eldrazi earns its slot: every land drop becomes a filtered peek that converts a lands-matter shell into a creature-selection engine. The wrinkle is the fail-state clause. Whenever you don't put the top card into hand, you may bin it instead, so a card that would sit dead becomes graveyard fuel. That turns the trigger from pure card advantage into a fork: hand for the aggressive line, graveyard for the reanimation or delve line, left in place if neither serves. Devoid keeps it colorless despite the green casting cost, which matters wherever a payoff cares about colorless permanents rather than green ones; the type line, separately, feeds anything keying on Eldrazi. The design tension it resolves is a familiar one for ramp: how do you keep flooding on lands from becoming a liability once you've hit your curve? Here the extra lands stop being blanks and start digging toward more threats or stocking the yard, so a strategy that wants to hit its land drops every turn now wants to hit them for a second reason. The ability keys only on your own lands entering, which anchors the payoff to the deck already committed to a fetch-heavy, land-dense game plan rather than handing it to any table.
