A 6/5 flyer with haste for four mana is the body of a serious threat; the drawback is what keeps it out of the fair-decks conversation and pushes it squarely into multiplayer politics. The combat-step ability strips away your control over where the damage goes: each turn it picks an opponent at random (excluding whoever it hit last swing) and forces the attack, so in a duel it simply attacks your lone opponent one turn and taps the next, which is why the tap clause exists as a failsafe when no valid opponent remains. That failsafe is the tell. This is a card built for a table, not a lane. The randomizer is the point of the design, not a tax on it: it turns a premium beater into a chaos engine that spreads pressure around the pod without letting the controller aim it, and it deliberately punishes the one-versus-one configuration where a hasty 6/5 evasive threat would otherwise be too clean. The choose-at-random language does structural work that most drawbacks avoid, handing agency to the game state rather than an opponent, which means no single player can reliably tax or bait it. It is a rare thing in red: a top-rate flyer whose entire evaluation flips based on how many players are seated across from you.
