Terravore

Creature — Lhurgoyf1 generic manaGreen manaGreen mana

The Lhurgoyf has always counted graveyards plurally: the original tallies every creature in every graveyard, and Tarmogoyf famously counts card types across all of them. This one narrows the diet to land cards alone, which reframes what kind of graveyard makes it big. Creature-counting Lhurgoyfs grow off combat attrition; this one grows off mana attrition, swelling with every fetchland crack, every Wasteland sacrifice, every self-mill that ditches duds and basics. That makes it a natural payoff for dredge, land-sacrifice, and graveyard-as-resource shells, and the symmetry rarely costs you: a deck built around it fills graveyards faster than any opponent wants to. Trample is the keyword that converts the bloated number into a clock, ensuring an opponent cannot chump-block the size into irrelevance. The fragility is the toll the engine demands: a single Tormod's Crypt, or any instant-speed graveyard exile, shrinks it to nothing in response to a block or a removal spell, so the body lives and dies on whether the lands stay in the bin. That is the recurring tension of the *-creature: a ceiling defined by something outside the controller's full ownership, and a floor of zero whenever the count is interrupted. The land restriction simply moves the variable from "how much has died" to "how many lands have hit the bin," which is a slower, steadier fuel than creature counts but one that builds quietly across a long game.
