Temur Banner
The wedge-aligned member of the three-color signet-adjacent cycle, built to do two jobs in sequence rather than one job well. Early, it is a mana rock that smooths the awkward base of a green-blue-red deck, taps for any of the three colors a wedge wants and asks nothing in return. Late, when the mana it produces is no longer scarce, it cashes itself in: the sacrifice clause demands one of each of its colors plus the tap, then replaces itself with a card. That second mode is the design's whole reason for existing. A plain three-mana rock that taps for one of three colors is a weak rate; the buried card-draw ability is what justifies the slot, converting a flooded board's surplus mana into a body of cards once the rock's fixing has done its early work. The cost structure is deliberately steep: needing green, blue, and red all available to fire the draw means the Banner only sheds itself when your mana is genuinely abundant, which is exactly the turn you would rather have a card than a rock. It is fixing with a graceful exit, a fixing piece that does not become a dead draw in the late game because it is engineered to stop being a fixing piece at all.
