Tamiyo's Immobilizer
Four taps, spread across as many turns as you like, metered out by oil counters that leave the artifact inert once they run dry. That is the whole proposition: repeated tapping as a resource with a hard ceiling. Each individual activation is modest, closer to a Frost Titan clause than to real removal, but the value lives in how you distribute the charges: stall an attacker for a turn, lock down a mana rock during an opponent's upkeep, freeze a blocker before your own swing, disable a key tapped-ability creature during their draw step. The blue pip on the casting cost keeps this a tool for decks already in that color rather than universal fixing, but once it resolves it asks nothing of your board: the counters are a self-contained pool, not a mana cost, so activations are free at instant speed. The only friction is the tap symbol on the ability, which restricts it to one target per turn and then wants it to untap. It fills the role of a small, patient tempo piece for decks that want to buy time without spending cards, and its ceiling is honest: four pings of interference, then a spent artifact that has done exactly what it promised and nothing more.
