Symbiotic Deployment

Enchantment2 generic manaGreen mana

Trading your draw step for an engine is one of the older deckbuilding propositions in the game, and this is its most aggressive form. By default you draw zero cards a turn; in exchange, every pair of untapped creatures becomes a repeatable card-draw button at a cost of one mana per activation. The conversion only pays off in a board that floods the table with bodies, so the card is a token payoff rather than a token enabler: it creates nothing, but it rewards a wide army for already existing. Crucially, the activation taps creatures without using the Tap symbol, so summoning sickness never enters the equation. A creature that resolved this turn can immediately be tapped to draw, which means a board freshly doubled by a token spell pays out the same turn it lands. The rate looks unassuming because the comparison most players reach for is a normal draw step, and that is the wrong frame. The right frame is mana efficiency at scale: with enough creatures you draw multiple cards per turn at instant speed, then untap into a fresh draw window at the start of your next turn. Skipping your draw step is the constraint that pays for all of this, and it is a real cost in any deck that stumbles on creatures, but in a build engineered never to run out of fodder it is paid in a resource you hold in surplus. The card asks one question (can you keep bodies on the battlefield to feed it?) and answers a yes with absurd raw card advantage.
