Sylvok Replica
The trick this design pulls is putting green's signature destruction effect onto a body without making it a green card at all. As a colorless artifact creature, it needs only a single green mana to fire, which means it answers an artifact or an enchantment from a manabase that green never had to support. That decoupling is the quiet upgrade: the destruction is portable into decks that want the answer but cannot reliably cast a green instant. The 1/3 frame does the rest of the work, holding the ground against early attackers while you decide whether the artifact or enchantment across the table is worth cashing the body in for. Until you sacrifice it, it counts as an artifact for whatever else in the deck wants artifacts on the battlefield. This is a recurring template, the modest creature carrying a one-shot removal mode baked into its activated ability, and it earns its slot by collapsing a removal spell and a blocker into one card. You never feel robbed when you draw it: it blocks now, it destroys later, and the choice of when to flip from one to the other is the entire decision the card asks of you.
