The two halves answer different problems: Sylvia hands out double strike, Khorvath hands out haste and a steady stream of Dragons, and each makes the other's attack lethal sooner than three mana suggests. Most "build around me" cards leave the second piece to your deckbuilding; this one names its other half and fetches it, arriving with a pre-assembled archetype on its back. What the pair encodes is a specific fantasy in mechanical terms: a rider commanding dragonflight, the small human body doing the work of doubling every big body behind it. The result is less a standalone threat than the white anchor of a Boros Dragons shell, the piece that makes oversized fliers deal their damage twice before they ever connect a second time.
