Sword of the Squeak

The reattachment trigger is what separates this from every other tribal Equipment that reads well and plays like a brick. Most Equipment of this kind strands itself: you pay the equip cost once, the wearer dies, and the anthem sits on the battlefield until you can afford to move it again. Here, any Hamster, Mouse, Rat, or Squirrel entering lets you snap the Sword onto the fresh arrival for free, so the buff chases the swarm instead of the swarm having to feed mana back into the buff. The pump itself keys off "base power or toughness 1," which quietly converts a rodent-tribal payoff into a wide-board one: every mana dork, one-drop hatebear, and token with a base stat of 1 adds another +1/+1, so the size of the anthem is just a headcount of the small, unassuming bodies these decks already flood the table with. The two abilities are the same thought spoken twice. The restriction (attach on entry, but only for these creature types) and the scaling (bigger the more tiny things you have) both want the identical board state: a floor of little creatures. That is the flavor made mechanical, a rodent's toy sword that means nothing on an empty field and everything atop a heaving pile of critters, and it is why the card behaves more like a go-wide engine than a straightforward power boost.
