Svella, Ice Shaper
A ramp card that pays for its acceleration twice. The first ability is deliberately clunky: an activation cost plus a tap yields a single Icy Manalith, a snow artifact rock that only begins earning back its investment over successive turns. That slowness is doing intentional work. Each Manalith is snow, so the tokens serve double duty in a shell built around snow-matters payoffs, feeding cost reducers and mana-value counters rather than merely fixing colors. Then comes the destination for all that mana: an eight-mana tap that peels the top four cards and casts one for free, a payoff steep enough that a green-red deck reaching it usually has the game in hand already. The 2/4 frame signals the intended pace, sturdy enough to survive an early exchange but small enough that Svella is never the plan, only the machine building toward one. The Troll typing is mostly flavor; the mana architecture is the identity. A groundwork ability lays down snow rocks a snow-permanent count actually cares about, and a game-ending overflow ability late exists purely to give a flooded board somewhere to dump its mana. The two halves barely acknowledge each other, stationed at either extreme of the same curve: the snow-artifact tokens are the payoff-enabling detail, the free-cast tap the finish line.
