Supernatural Stamina
The trick that buys you a creature twice. For one black mana at instant speed, it answers spot removal and combat death alike: the +2/+0 occasionally swings a damage race, but the granted dies-trigger is the real purchase, returning the creature tapped under its owner's control the moment it reaches the graveyard. The design does not care why the creature died, only that it did, which is what turns a protection spell into a sacrifice enabler with a built-in payoff. Feed the creature to an outlet, collect its death trigger and any leaves-the-battlefield value, then watch it walk back onto the battlefield. Cast it in response to a removal spell and you blank the answer; decks built around enters-the-battlefield triggers read it as a way to recur that value without a dedicated blink effect. The tapped clause is what the design pays out with: the returned creature arrives unable to block or attack that turn, so this is recursion that protects rather than refreshes, and the body comes back vulnerable for a turn cycle. Because the ability is granted rather than required, it pairs with anything: a vanilla beater becomes a removal-proof attacker, while a creature with its own death or ETB trigger turns the spell into a one-mana engine in any deck built to abuse repeated deaths.
